Alhamdullillah Was-Salaatu Was-Salaamu A`laa Rasollillah, Amaa B`ad:
The following has been posted in order to share the benefits taken from the summer Duroos that have begun in Madeenah.
Ash-Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq Al-A`baad (hafidah-hullah) has started his lessons in the Haram. He has taken the seat of his father and is teaching the beneficial book of Imaam Al-Bukhaaree "Al-Adabul-Mufrad.
We reached the chapter regarding speaking softly and gently to one`s parents. Where the narration of U`rwah was mentioned, in which he recited the Aayah:
{And lower unto them (the parents) the wing of submission and humility through mercy.}
U`rwah said (in explanation of this Aayah):
"That you do not prevent them from anything that they love and like to do."
Declared as being Saheeh by Shaykh Al-Albaani.
Shaykh Abdur-Razzaq went onto say:
"This relates to anything that they wish to do, as long as it does not involve disobedience to Allah or falling into sin. Along with this, the Tafseer of U`rwah relates to one particular aspect. Where as the Aayah itself encompases other aspects of being good to one`s parents. Such as speaking to them with gentleness, being obedient to them and showing them kindness."
And Allah the Most High knows best.
