“…friendship is a contract between two believers, between two Muslims and it has different levels depending on the connection between them and the affection they have towards one another …â€‌

â€‌…that which is mentioned about Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Taymiyah May Allaah have mercy on him is that when some of the scholars who were enemies to him died, he used to attend to the needs of their families and young ones along with the fact that they showed enmity and hatred towards him because there are the rights of special brotherhood and the rights of the contract of brotherhood in Islaam…â€‌
“…friendship and special brotherhood has outward manifestations, and from them is to remain silent about his shortcomings, to be trustworthy concerning what you see and hear from him, and if not then everyone will be cautious with whom me mixes with…â€‌
“…and Imaam Ahmad reported in his book Az Zuhd, on the authority of â€کUmar Ibn Al Khattaab May Allaah be pleased with him that he said: "Don’t suspect evil of a statement that may precede from your brother while you can find for it a possibility of good" pay attention, for in this is a prohibition of evil suspicion and if it is possible that he intended good then consider it as such so your brother can escape criticism and evil suspicion and you escape the sin of…â€‌
“…actions have many possibilities and very few people ask their brother "why did you do what you did for it made me uncomfortable?â€‌ Very few people do this and because of it the Shaytaan comes and says “Indeed he only did that for such and such or to obtain such and such or he intended such and such by that etc." And if you view these actions in one light and personalize them then in reality you have victimized and wronged your own self and you have no respect for your intellect nor you train of thought…â€‌
